Mrs. Stern seeks to create opportunities, experiences for Amani scholars
AMANI — Creating opportunities and experiences for scholars is one of the priorities for Amani Public Charter School through the rest of the year, said Mrs. Stern, who is the executive director.
Mrs. Stern has been working at Amani for 10 years.
“I started Amani because the middle school and high school system was very bad,” said Mrs. Stern.
She said she also wanted to work this year on adding recess and making the community nicer.
“I love Amani because of the people, the new kids and the community,” said Mrs. Stern.
